Cash prizes awarded to top finishers

  • Overall 10 mile Race Winner Receives $250/ Overall 5k Race Winner Receives $200
  • If you reset the course record – we will double your winnings!
    • 10 Mile Male – 50:24.4 set by Michael Cook in 1983
    • 10 Mile Female – 58:04.00 set by Jenny Spangler in 2003
    • 5k Male – 14:53.0 set by Jay Jackson in 1995
    • 5k Female – 18:04.2 set by Laura Witek-Jones in 1998

  • All Walk Proceeds Go to the Participating Elgin Not-for-profit Agency/Community Group of Your Choice

Day of Packet Pick-up and Race Day Registration from 6:00am – 7:15am

  • Both located at the Centre’s Fieldhouse (a.k.a. the gym) 100 Symphony Way
  • If you are registering day of please bring a credit card. We will be one of the first races to use registration kiosks!
